The Mediterranean climate is highly agreeable throughout the year. The beautiful Mimosa flowers in February when there are numerous flower festivals and the world famous Nice Carnival.
There is the glamorous Cannes Film Festival in May and in September the Monaco Grand Prix as well as classic yacht racing all along the coast to St. Tropez.
The Riviera summers are long and warm and usually more agreeable by the coast than inland. Summer-like temperatures, swimming and eating outside can be experienced from April/May until October/November.
The typical Provencale villages, markets and vineyards are only a short distance away.
The food, wine and herbs taste delicious all year round and there is an excellent choice of restaurants, eateries and bars (indoor and outdoor) locally all within walking distance.
In addition, there are numerous golf courses near by, most of them open throughout
the year. In the grounds of the Residence des Golfeurs there are two private tennis
courts with direct access from the palm gardens where you will also find the large
outdoor pool and the children’s pool. Naturally, these free amenities are completely
and exclusively for the use of residents.
